NOWRA Presents: Backhoe ROE-D-HOE®
It's BACK
Back by popular demand, NOWRA - the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association, will be conducting the National Backhoe ROE-D-HOE® Championship Competition in Booth #1213!
The ROE-D-HOE® competition is a three-day open event where attendees who are skilled backhoe operators compete by using the backhoe bucket to skillfully and smoothly move small objects such as a golf ball or bowling pin in an extreme race against time. The competition is timed and will culminate with the contestants with the top three times winning belt buckles in addition to up to $1,000 in cash prizes.
Tuesday, February 18
9:00 am - 5:00 pm................Competition
Wednesday, February 19
9:00 am - 5:00 pm................Competition
Thursday, February 20
9:00 am - Noon.....................Competition
Noon - 1:00 pm.....................Finals
Prize breakdown:
1st Place................$1,000 cash
2nd Place...............$300 cash
3rd Place................$100 cash
The top 3 finalists will also receive a souvenir belt buckle recognizing the Backhoe Roe-D-Hoe. The winner will get the honor of posing with the Roe-D-Hoe championship belt!
*Entry fee is $10 per attempt.
In addition to the competitors who participate in the competition at WWETT Show, champions from NOWRA state affiliate ROE-D-HOE® competitions held around the country will also participate. The overall champion will wear the Championship Belt for photo opportunities at time of presentation!
