Show Policies

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be in writing before January 17, 2025. Paid exhibitor badges, Expo Hall Pass, Confined Entry Space Training, Sewer Cleaning 102 Training, NOWRA Training, Technical Tours, Digital Marketing Workshop, and Event Ballcap are non-refundable. Education cancellations will be charged a $60 administration fee.

Substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of the show; however, the request must be in writing by the original registrant. Email substitution requests to [email protected].

Badge Scanning Policy

By attending, you acknowledge and accept the Badge Scanning Policy. You understand that by choosing to allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or a sponsor, you are providing the exhibitor or sponsor with your personal information and in doing so you consent to the exhibitor or sponsor contacting you in the future about their products and services. You understand that you can opt-out of this contact at any time by contacting the exhibitor or sponsor. Badges cannot be read remotely and must be scanned before any details are shared with exhibitors and sponsors.

You understand that your badge may be scanned on entry/exit to The WWETT Show and used in relation to event safety/security and that the event organizer may use this information in aggregate form to analyze/improve the visitor experience. Scanning at entry/exit is not associated with marketing consent choices that you may make. You understand and agree that the event organizer may transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area in administering the badge scanning process and when passing information to exhibitors and sponsors.

Credit Card Policy

All registrations will be applied to the card provided at the time of registration. Conference registrations will not be completed without payment or if made with declined or invalid credit cards.

Age Restrictions

During normal show hours, persons 17 years old and under will be admitted only with parental supervision. This rule is strictly enforced. Persons 18 years old and over must register and pay in order to receive a badge.

Photography / Videography

Exhibitors are permitted to photograph and/or video tape their own booth. Working members of the press are required to check-in at Registration, receive an authorization badge and be escorted by Marketing in order to photograph and/or videotape at the show. Cell phone, still, or video photography on the show floor is strictly prohibited. Absolutely no recording during Education Seminars. Exhibitors who do not want the press to photograph or video tape their booth should inform Marketing staff onsite. Exhibitors and attendees understand that The WWETT Show Management or its authorized representatives may conduct interviews and may take photographs and/or videotape at The WWETT Show. Exhibitors and attendees hereby grant to Show Management and its authorized representatives the absolute right and permission to use my name, likeness, biographical information, voice, content of any interview, image and/or photograph and any other indicia of persona ("Persona") or to refrain from doing so, in any manner or media whether existing now or hereinafter developed (including without limitation the World Wide Web and the Internet), worldwide, for trade, advertising and/or promotional purposes. Exhibitors and attendees agree Exhibitors and attendees shall have no rights of review or approval, no Claim to compensation, and no Claim arising out of or resulting from the use, alteration, blurring, distortion or illusionary effect (whether intentional or otherwise) or use in any composite form of Persona and agree to release and hold The WWETT Show Management and its authorized representatives harmless for any and all such use(s).

The WWETT Show reserves the right to verify the identity of any persons, accepting and/or using a show badge. Any person found using another person’s badge will have the badge confiscated and will be asked to leave the premises or correctly register.

Hold Harmless Policy

The WWETT Show attendees hereby agree to release and hold harmless Show Management, its employees, vendors, agents, contractors, and owners from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses, of any kind (Claim) which arise out of or result from attendance at and participation in the event, including but not limited to property damage and personal injuries, whether or not foreseeable.

Code of Conduct

The WWETT Show provides an ideal opportunity for the wastewater industry to come together to learn about and discuss the latest advances and innovations, network with industry professionals, and grow professionally. The WWETT Show is committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, or other protected characteristics. The WWETT Show expects all attendees, media, speakers, sponsors, organizing staff, and vendor staff to help show management ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone. This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior, as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

We Ask That All Attendees....

Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech.
Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Alert show management if you notice a dangerous or harassing situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable Conduct

Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct. All who participate in the event deserve respectful treatment, regardless of the capacity in which they are attending, whether a speaker, sponsor, attendee, or show/vendor staff member.

The WWETT Show defines harassment to include: offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, gender identity, or disability; inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides); deliberate intimidation, stalking or unwelcome following; harassing photo/videography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.

Verbal or physical (virtual environmental) abuse, intimidation, threats, efforts to annoy others, harassment, stalking, against any person, which in any way creates a disturbance that is disruptive or dangerous, or creates reasonable apprehension in a person, is also unacceptable.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated at the event or related events, whether by attendees, media, speakers, sponsors, organizers, or vendor staff. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

The WWETT Show expects all event participants (staff, sponsors, speakers, attendees, and other guests) to abide by this code of conduct at all events conducted as part of The WWETT Show regardless of platform and activity. Show management, in its sole discretion, may bar those who violate this Code from continued attendance or participation in some or all of The WWETT Show events, without refund of any fees paid, and may in appropriate circumstance bar violators of this Code from attendance or participation at future The WWETT Show-sponsored events.

Right To Deny or Remove

We reserve the right to deny admission to, or remove any party from The WWETT Show for any reason.

No Soliciting or “Suitcasing”

Solicitation of business by anyone who is not an official show exhibitor is strictly prohibited. Show Management takes this matter very seriously and any individual who violates this rule will be asked to leave the show venue immediately without the right to receive any refund of fees. 

Visitor Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to visitor registrations for, and attendance at, events (each an “Event”) organized by Informa Markets (referred to as “we/our/us”), which is a trading division of the Informa Group.  The parent company of the Informa Group is Informa PLC.  A full list of entities within the Informa Group is available on request.
