Press Policy

The WWETT Show welcomes journalists, reporters, radio personalities, photographers, film crews, and other members of the traditional news media at our conferences and events.

You do not qualify for press credentials if you are an advertising/sales rep or any non-editorial personnel; however, we welcome you to the show as regular attendees. You will not be issued a press badge without proper editorial credentials.

These guidelines serve as rules of engagement to protect our attendees while sharing stories from these events with public audiences.

Press Credentials are Subject to Approval. If you would like to apply for a press pass, please email Christina Sanchez at [email protected].

Media representatives must present identification to verify affiliation with print, broadcast, or recognized Internet media. Freelance writers must submit a letter of assignment or letter of intent from the media outlet being represented. Unassigned freelance writers must present bylined articles from a recognized news organization for consideration. Business cards or membership cards from communications or writers’ organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility.

Press passes are available only to working media representatives who can show evidence that their attendance is expected to result in coverage of the meeting or event in print, broadcast, or Internet media.

Please note that we will NOT issue credentials to sales or advertising personnel, public relations staff, technical support staff or photographers not representing a news organization.

Only official members of the press will be allowed to film/tape on the show floor. Filming may only be used for editorial purposes promoting the WWETT Show, not for resale or profit of any kind. Filming and photography for public consumption of any kind anywhere within The WWETT Show is allowed only at the discretion of show team.

Photography/video is not permitted in the exhibit hall without prior approval from the exhibitor and any images to be used for print, broadcast or any type of reproduction media must be for editorial purposes only. No video or photography is approved for resale purposes. This policy also pertains to all social media posts (consisting of any still images, video, and text), both live and archived, and for all social media platforms available.

Approved Press agrees: I understand that photography and videography is only permitted with prior approval of the exhibiting company and/or "Informa Exhibitions U.S.". Failure to obtain prior consent may result in the deletion of the footage from my device and/or removal from the show. I also understand there are non-solicitation and no suitcasing policies and will abide by these restrictions.

If you plan to have a TV, radio or video crew you must get permission prior to shooting by emailing [email protected].

Live broadcasts from The WWETT Show may occur only with written consent from The WWETT Show Team. To apply for permission, email [email protected].

Media representatives will not be given Conference tote bags or other complimentary items (e.g., food, beverages, Expo Hall giveaways).

Dual-role publishers/editors may obtain a press pass if they meet the other criteria outlined in these guidelines. Any media activities in the must be approved by The WWETT Show team.

Exhibitors who plan on having a film crew videotape their booth must contact the The WWETT Show Team. Exhibitors may hold their own press conferences and are responsible for making their own arrangements. Please notify The WWETT Show team in advance so we can reroute press queries.

The WWETT Show will not issue press passes to a publisher’s or publication’s advertising, marketing, public relations, or sales representatives; publishers, editors, or reporters from manufacturers’ house or promotional publications; public relations staff of exhibitors; writers creating analyses or reports sold as a commodity; or other individuals or their representatives who are not actually reporting on the meeting or event. Any press pass holder who sells, markets, or represents a company or organization for the purpose of obtaining advertising, sales, or subscriptions from any meeting registrant or exhibitor will be asked to immediately forfeit press credentials.
