Gap Barbin, grandson of GapVax founder Gary Poborsky, became President of GapVax in 2024, bringing a lifetime of connection and hands-on experience to the role. Starting as a hydro-excavation operator in Texas, Gap gained firsthand knowledge of customer needs and equipment performance. He later rotated through key departments, including Sales, Project Engineering, and Production, to prepare for leadership. Gap’s commitment to understanding every aspect of the business has positioned him to lead GapVax into a new era of innovation and service. His dedication to technical excellence and customer satisfaction continues to drive the company’s success.

Robert Broccolo, owner of Professional Drain Services of Southern New England, has built a regional leader in underground plumbing, excavation, and trenchless sewer rehabilitation. Starting with just a truck and trailer, he has grown the company into a full-service operation with advanced technologies, including hydro-jetting, pipe lining, and inspection systems. Rob emphasizes long-term solutions, workforce development, and customer trust, mentoring his team to deliver exceptional service. Through social media and industry partnerships, he shares his expertise and helps improve product development. Rob’s innovation, leadership, and commitment to raising industry standards make him a standout professional in wastewater services.

Jacqui Claypool, a triple major in Biology, Public Health, and Health Sciences, has quickly become one of Minnesota’s most advanced licensed professionals in sub-surface sewage treatment systems (SSTS). Since joining LaRoche’s in 2022, she has earned every SSTS certification available, including intermediate design and inspection, and now leads a team of 10 while managing her own role as the company’s only intermediate designer and inspector. Known for her expertise and dedication, Jacqui is often praised by local government inspectors for her knowledge and professionalism. She is passionate about mentoring young professionals and is poised to become a future leader in Minnesota’s wastewater industry. Jacqui’s commitment to excellence and her drive to elevate the field make her a deserving honoree.

Nick Dykes, Operations Manager at Dykes Construction, has dedicated nearly 20 years to the onsite wastewater industry, continuing his family’s legacy as a third-generation professional. As President of the Missouri Smallflows Organization, he has grown its membership to over 720 and actively serves on multiple committees, promoting public health and environmental sustainability. A dynamic speaker and educator, Nick has presented at WWETT and other state association events, captivating audiences with his passion and expertise. He is also a key figure in the Roe-D-Hoe competition and a tireless advocate for the industry, always willing to lend a hand to colleagues in need. Nick’s leadership and commitment to the industry make him an exceptional honoree.

Micah Findley is the co-founder of HomeField Onsite Environmental, the first franchise model for the septic and onsite wastewater industry. His vision is to modernize the sector with professionalism, consistency, and community-first values, empowering local owners to build sustainable businesses. Through innovative systems and a people-first approach, Micah has reimagined how septic businesses operate, creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and elevating the industry. His leadership has brought fresh thinking and long-term sustainability to an often-overlooked trade. Micah’s passion and dedication to transforming the industry make him a standout leader and a deserving recipient of this award.

Ryan Foley, Director of Sales for Capital Equipment at Satellite Industries, has over seven years of experience in the portable sanitation industry. Rising through the ranks from Texas Regional Manager to his current role, Ryan has demonstrated strategic leadership and a results-driven approach, driving sustainable growth and building strong customer partnerships. He has raised over $500,000 for charitable causes and earned recognition in Satellite’s ProPerformers Program. Beyond his professional achievements, Ryan is a national competitor in The Tactical Games and a dedicated family man. His leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to excellence make him a worthy recipient of this award.

Matt has dedicated 15 years to the wastewater industry, with 11 years serving the Town of Brownsburg. He holds multiple certifications, including Class II Wastewater Operator, Class IV Collection System, and PACP/MACP/LACP, and is skilled in plant operations, laboratory testing, and equipment management. As Vice President of the Central Indiana Operators Association, Matt is set to become its president in 2026. He has led his team to three first-place wins in Indiana’s wastewater challenge and has represented Indiana at the WEFTEC Operations Challenge for four years, earning recognition in process control and collection systems. Matt’s technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence make him a deserving recipient of this award.

Anant Kapur has been a transformative force in wastewater and environmental services for over seven years. As Director at Everest Blowers, he scaled operations and delivered solutions for major water projects, leading to the company’s acquisition by Ingersoll Rand. Now, as a leader of NICO Nanobubble India Co., Anant pioneers nanobubble oxygenation technology to tackle India’s critical water challenges. His projects have rejuvenated polluted drains, restored urban water bodies, and improved agricultural and aquaculture practices, delivering measurable environmental and economic benefits. Anant’s ability to bridge traditional engineering with cutting-edge innovation has earned him national and international recognition, making him a leader in sustainable technology.

David oversees all divisions of his company, managing 5,000 portable sanitation units, septic and commercial pumping, and a rental fleet of job-site trailers, sea containers, and temporary fencing. He is responsible for maintaining over 70 trucks and trailers and leads a team of more than 60 people. As co-chair of the PSAI Training Committee, David spearheads the Basic Service Technician Training program, focusing on safety, equipment, and customer interaction. He also mentors new industry professionals through the PSAI mentorship program, sharing his expertise to elevate the industry. David’s leadership and dedication to training and mentorship make him a standout professional in the field.

Carl, Vice President of FORMADRAIN Inc., has over 15 years of experience in the CIPP market and is a recognized leader in the industry. As a Professional Chemical Engineer, he has developed innovative, environmentally friendly resins for underground conduit rehabilitation, benefiting users and advancing industry standards. Carl’s active involvement in NASSCO and ASTM committees has shaped key standards and programs, including the building sewer and drain inspection program. His technical expertise, management skills, and contributions to plumbing code development have set a high bar for safety and performance in the industry. Carl’s dedication to innovation and collaboration makes him a deserving honoree.

Taylor Martin has spent eight years in the trenchless industry, leading APS’s service department and driving innovation, including the groundbreaking Versa-Light UV system. He has been instrumental in developing high-speed drain cleaning equipment service standards and training global partners, strengthening the industry’s dealer and support networks. Taylor’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found American Pipelining Solutions, where he applied his technical expertise and leadership to build a thriving company from the ground up. His mentorship has shaped the careers of others, including past WWETT award winners, and his operational innovations have improved efficiency and quality across the industry. Taylor’s bold vision and dedication to elevating trenchless technology make him a deserving recipient of this award.

Kayce Peters, founder of Buenos Baños, has transformed the portable sanitation industry in northern Arizona in just two years. Starting with one truck and seven porta potties in January 2024, she now operates a fleet of three trucks, 150+ units, and employs three staff members. Kayce’s dedication to providing the “cleanest potties in town” has earned her local awards, media features, and recognition in industry publications like Pro Magazine and Satellite Industries. Her mission to erase the stigma around porta potties through exceptional service and cleanliness has made her a trailblazer in the field. Kayce’s passion, hard work, and vision for the future make her an inspiring honoree.

Ethan Silverman, Director of Sales Operations at General Pipe Cleaners, has made a lasting impact on the industry through strategic leadership and innovation. Overseeing 39 rep agencies across the U.S. and Canada, he has driven growth by implementing sales strategies, marketing plans, and customer service initiatives. Ethan’s hands-on experience, from working in the factory to managing customer service, has given him a deep understanding of the company’s products and operations. Recognized as a Plumbing & Mechanical Next Gen All Star in 2024, Ethan’s leadership has been pivotal in advancing the company’s success and setting new standards in the industry. His dedication and expertise exemplify the qualities celebrated by this award.

Kyle Voss, a former U.S. Marine Corps Captain and professional athlete, brings discipline and leadership to the wastewater industry. As the founder of EPIC Septic & Service, he is modernizing the sector with innovative systems, elite branding, and a focus on workforce development. In just two years, Kyle has built a fully branded, high-performance septic company that has redefined operational standards and customer experience. His efforts have positioned EPIC to become the first national “brown-collar” essential services brand, earning recognition from industry leaders and media outlets. Kyle’s vision and relentless drive are reshaping the industry and inspiring the next generation of professionals.

Huairen Zhou is an engineering leader at Spartan Tool, where he develops innovative sewer and drain cleaning equipment with a focus on reliability, serviceability, and field performance. Known for his exceptional work ethic and ability to turn vision into reality, Huairen has developed multiple products that enhance operator efficiency, improve safety, and elevate the industry’s standards. Originally from China, he has demonstrated remarkable adaptability and serves as a bridge between teams and disciplines, fostering collaboration and innovation. His designs reflect a rare combination of creativity, technical expertise, and customer understanding. Huairen’s leadership and mentorship have had a transformative impact on his team and the industry.
